Nogen
The FLAG "nogen" only appears on items.
If an item has FLAG nogen, it will not be generated by the standard system that populates the star map in the main game. It won't show up on a random planet, nor will it be available from the trading ship of the Klakar. The ITMS command won't ever randomly generate it, either.
Items with nogen can still be placed by a quest that's specifically designed to do so. You have to use the ITEM command, and call it out by name in a STAR block or PAGE block.
Examples of "nogen"
The following items in the main game have FLAG nogen:
- All the passengers:
- Miscellaneous items that are accessible in most games, but not directly placed at planets:
- it_cover and it_record - created by the Golden Canister
- wp_furies - unleashed by the Chromium Gong
- Findable items that are placed specifically by a mainquest:
- dv_collapser2 - only spawns if there's kawangi around
- it_horloge - points the way to Primordius
- wp_missdamc - comes mounted in the Damocles
- All the tchorak weapons:
- All the fighter bays:
- Items used only by enemies in mainquests:
